After a brief rest from the amazing start in the early part of the outdoor season, last weekend Megi was back on a (winning) track.

On Saturday she competed in strong international meeting in Trieste, and for the first time in her sprinting career  she broke the magic limit of 12 seconds for 100m. She finished her race in 11.98s, thus improving her personal best by 2 tenths of a second and confirming her status of currently best Croatian sprintress at this distance.

On Sunday, she had another 100m race – this time in Codroipo, pitoresque town in northern Italy just some 60km north west from Trieste. The great Trieste run took a bit of a toll on Megi, so her result was not as great as in Trieste, but it was nevertheless enough for a bronze medal at this meeting.
